Savitha Sundar has practiced as an occupational therapist for nearly 2 decades in k-12 schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, mental health facilities, and home health settings. While working as a school-based occupational therapy practitioner for over 15 years and in 3 different states, she found her calling in supporting authentic inclusion for students with extensive support needs. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in occupational therapy at Texas Woman's University.

She believes that if schools and communities can find ways to include those with the most extensive needs and differences they are quite likely to be able to include everyone.
